Believe it or not, the first thing I do when designing a new room or changing a color scheme in an existing room for my client is to select a fabric, drapery or a rug that has ALL the colors that they want to refreshen their redesigned room with. (Look, somebody has already done the hard work of combining the perfect color combinations that they have already fallen in love with, so let's use it!) Haha
What in this photo to the right was the inspiration? THE RUG, that's right. Start there and just match everything else with it.
Here is a rug with the similar color combos to start you on your way. Also available in other color combinations!
Click here to purchase a Savefieh rug that's trending today!

You've started with the rug, so what's next??
Well, using very similar items seen in the whole room photo above, let's look at the following room decor items:
Bed sheets for a super luxurious Five-Star hotel feel: Click here to purchase your set in the perfect color

And what's on top of the sheets? A bedspread!
Make sure it's an all-season fabric, solid color for ease in accessorizing, and super soft. Check this bedspread to go with our rug and sheets of your color choice above: Click here to purchase

And what do we all need occasionally on those super cold nights?? Haha...well, if you don't have an extra warm body or a couple of fur babies, then look at this Sherpa throw blanket to add that extra warmth on those frigid cold nights!

And last but certainly not least, the window treatments!! We have a lot of solids in our room today. Let's try a patterned light-filtering drapery panels for the utmost in elegance that ties the whole room together. Click here!

Oh, I forgot....for those lazy days spent napping, not wanting to get under the sheets, well....look what I found. Snuggle up with these! Click here for 18x18 inch pillow inserts....four of them!!
And for the corduroy pillow covers, click here to purchase the covers!
We've done a whole room in less than 10 minutes. I hope you enjoy exploring the vast array of designs just starting with the rug on the floor!
Till next time, the Posh Peacock, signing off!
